Cincinatti Business Journal on The Christ Hospital Opening New Auburn Garage
In the first major milestone in the completion of Cincinnati's premier downtown healthcare facility renovation, The Christ Hospital has announced that it has opened its newly completed Auburn Garage to the public on Christmas Eve.
The garage, also known as the P1 building, is the first building to be completed in the $256M expansion and renovation of the existing facilities and was designed to sit seamlessly within the historic Mt. Auburn Historic district of Cincinnati. Also included in this expansion is the new Joint and Spine Center, which has seen significant progress since ground was broken in 2012, and an entirely renovated landscape masterplan. The JSC will feature an expansive green roof featuring many seating pavilions and complex ornamental plantings, while a series of ground level courts provide calm spaces for reflection and relaxation which contribute the Hospital's mission of healing.
