Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
Atlanta, Georgia

As a part of the East International Terminal Development at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, a new 1.7-acre Central Park provides an inviting outdoor respite for weary travelers. The park is located just outside the front of the 960,000 square feet Maynard Holbrook Jackson, Jr. International Terminal. The terminal and park are part of a 10 year, $5.4 billion development program for the airport.

The landscape plans for the project include a large reflecting pool, circular garden court, monumental live oaks, arbor structures with adjacent water features, garden terraces and an open lawn in the central area of the park. The park features flexible spaces that can accommodate travelers, airport personnel and small to large groups.
