First trees planted at The Park in Dallas!

Workers with McCarthy Construction and ValleyCrest placed the first 25 of 322 trees yesterday at Klyde Warren Park over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway in Dallas, Texas. This work coincided with the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation's announcement of the "Tree Trust" program honoring donors to the park. Senior Associate Biff Sturgess was on hand to direct the placement of these Dura-Heat River Birch and assist WRPF President Linda Owen, construction manager Keith Bjerke and Dallas Park's Department project manager John Reynolds, ASLA as they installed the first tree.
