Andrew Albers, Vice President at OJB Houston will be speaking this Wednesday, April 22nd at Gensler Houston For their Earth Day 2015 Happy Hour and Sustainable Landscape Forum.
Albers will be presenting on Xeriscapes, landscapes designed reduce or eliminate supplimental irrigation. Andrew has worked with Gensler on a number of projects as well as several award winning projects in Houston, including the Brochstein Pavilion and the Brockman Hall of Physics at Rice University. Andrew is also a lecturer at the Rice School or Architecture where he teaches an introductory course on Landscape. Other presentations wil include Keiji Asakura, Principal at Asakura Robinson speaking on Bioswales, and Clark Condon Senior Associate Mary Keilers speaking on Beneficial Habitats.
The reception will start at 5:30 and presentations will take place from 6-7pm at the Design Lounge at Gensler Houston, located at 711 Louisiana St, Ste 300, 77002.
