The news is in and the list is incredible! The Urban Land Institute announced its shortlist for the most outstanding development projects for the 2025 ULI Americas Awards of Excellence and Downtown Cary Park in Cary, North Carolina is on the list.
ULI Americas Awards honor the most exemplary projects across a wide range of development categories, from housing and mixed use development to planning and open space projects.
Downtown Cary Park is a 7-acre public park in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina and the heart of a vibrant, walkable downtown core. More than 750,000 visitors took a class, splashed in the water, attended a concert, or simply walked a dog in the park during its first full year of operations.
Next steps include visits by teams of experts who serve on the jury for each program to see for themselves how the projects are being adopted and integrated into their communities.
