OJB Vice President Andrew Albers, AIA, joined Neyran Turan of the Rice School of Architecture and Kathy Easterly of the University Place Association as a judge for the Rice Village Redesign Charrette “Visions for the Village”. The event was organized by rdAGENTS and hosted by the Rice Design Alliance. As described by Raj Mankad in his Cite Magazine Article ‘Viewing the Visions for Rice Village’, teams conferred on ways to adapt Rice Village’s current scheme to promote walkability and community connectivity.
Albers graduated with his M.Arch. from Rice University in 1999, and has contributed to several landscape design projects on the Rice University Campus with OJB, including the Brochstein Pavilion and the Brockman Hall of Physics.
