San Diego East Village Green, downtown San Diego’s newest park-to-be in the East Village neighborhood has launched its website. The East Village Green will be the East Village’s first programmed public park, and add a much anticipated open space and programmed park to the downtown. The park has been in development by the city and many community members for several decades. OJB is honored to be designing the park in alliance with Civic San Diego and the many citizens and groups who have invested years in bringing the park to fruition.
OJB held the first Public Workshop on March 28th- full record and results of the first workshop can be read on the new website here. Be sure to sign up for updates and mailings here to keep atop future workshops and developments as the park develops.
Below, a presentation poster from the first Public Workshop on March 28th, 2015 describing the site location. The park is expected to be developed in multiple phases; the first phase will be framed by 13th, 14th, F and G Streets in Downtown’s East Village.
