Amy Benoit, RLA, LEED AP

Director | Dallas, TX /

Amy Benoit is a Director in OJB’s Dallas office. She is a licensed landscape architect in the State of Texas and a graduate of Louisiana State University. Amy joined the Dallas office in 2019 and brings varied career experiences that span nearly two decades.  An early love of national and state parks and simply being outdoors led her to the profession, and she remains passionate about designing public spaces for all to enjoy.  Just as critical as the creation of the places themselves is the ability to connect people to them and the understanding that our work is just one piece of a larger urban environment.

Amy worked as an Instructor of Landscape Architecture at Texas Tech University for four years, sharing her love of design, interest in people and passion for the environment with her students. With a renewed excitement for the profession, she returned to professional practice to design and manage teams, lead community engagement meetings and focus on mobility improvement and mobility choice projects. She has played an integral role in the design and delivery of large public parks and has an impressive portfolio leading award-winning design teams for numerous international projects. Outside of the office, Amy loves traveling with her husband and working in the garden.
