Ana joined the OJB team as an intern in 2016 and became a full-time Designer in January 2017. She received her Bachelor’s of Architecture from the University of Houston. She was drawn to Landscape Architecture after two internships at Residential Landscape firms in Houston and after spending one year on the research and design for a school project that interwove the concepts of deck parks and edible landscapes as part of a Vertical Studio the school had in collaboration with architect Thom Mayne from Morphosis. Ana enjoys 3D modeling, sketching, unraveling and documenting the intricacies of site elements and details that bring the larger projects together, and designing spaces that make a positive impact on the people who experience them, while stitching to the overall urban fabric in a meaningful way. Since joining OJB, Ana has worked in a variety of projects from corporate campuses to amenity decks and mixed-use developments.
