About Anna Marie Scoccimaro
Anna Marie joined the Houston office in 2021 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Master of Landscape Architecture. Her thesis research focused on designing a “restarter” community in Homerville, Georgia with the tenants of Maslow’s hierarchy of human needs and Randall Hester’s ecological democracy for people experiencing homelessness. Anna Marie also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College, where she was a member of the Davidson Herpetology Lab and conducted research on pond turtle population hierarchy, Burmese python mobility, and terrapin headcounts. She is an environmental and sustainability advocate who aims to bring people closer to nature in everyday encounters through her work at OJB. Anna Marie is inspired by design that includes biophilic and storytelling elements and is always looking for a reason to enjoy the outdoors.
