About Brianna Cruz

In 2022, Brianna became an intern at OJB while she was studying at Cal Poly Pomona. During her final year at school, she pursued further studies during her study abroad in Italy. In the summer of 2023, she transitioned to a full-time designer role with OJB. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and a minor in Urban Planning from her schooling. Brianna’s time at CPP was marked by notable achievements, including receiving a SoCal ASLA Honor Award for her capstone projects and earning a nomination for the Frederick Law Olmstead Scholar.

Her capstone studio significantly deepened her passion for ecological revitalization and arboriculture. She aspires to blend these interests to advance urban spaces that are resilient to climate change. During her free time, Brianna can be found at the gym, rock climbing, operating her drone, or tackling a new LEGO set.
