Kate joined OJB in June 2025 as a design intern in the Boston Office. Kate’s design process involves researching successful design ideas with desired performance outcomes and combining those different techniques with her own creative instincts to develop unique outcomes. She draws inspiration from her peers, whether it be classmates or landscape architects from across the world. She is not only influenced by her favorite parks but even strolls through random streetscapes get her mind flowing with new ideas, critiques, and challenges. Alongside being a student at Purdue University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, Kate enjoys mixed media art, exploring new places, concerts, and spending time with her cat.
