Lindsay Rule, ASLA, PLA

Associate | Philadelphia /

Lindsay is a licensed landscape architect located in Philadelphia. Accustomed to working on fast-paced and unique projects, Lindsay seeks to create memorable experiences in the built environment utilizing technical craftsmanship and thoughtful detail. Since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters of Architecture and Masters of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning, Lindsay has had the opportunity to be a project manager in two Philadelphia-based firms – her experience ranges from complex parks, plazas, and streetscapes over structure, institutional master planning and phased implementation, to high profile cultural centers.

Prior to joining OJB, Lindsay completed the documentation and phase 1 construction administration of a 100-acre park in rural Tennessee. The framework balanced ecological restoration of multiple post-industrial sites with amenities for BMX, mountain bike, and river sports to attract regional and national audiences year-round. Through this work and other experiences, Lindsay has developed a passion for responsible design practices to improve soil and water quality on site through research-based planting and stormwater management strategies. Ultimately, Lindsay enjoys exuberant design, outside-the-box thinking, and helping clients achieve their goals.
