About Luke Murphree, ASLA, PLA
Luke joined the OJB San Diego Office in 2022 after practicing for 9 years with an international architecture and design firm. During this experience he worked on a wide array of projects around the world, ranging from international large-scale masterplans to local botanical gardens and corporate campuses. He received his master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he nurtured his love of wilderness in the Great Smokey Mountains.
Luke was drawn to the field of Landscape Architecture out of a passion for nature and the arts, and to contribute to the greater good of our communities. As a Registered Landscape Architect, he brings a strong design vision balanced with an ecological and cultural sensitivity to each project. His unique skillset in visualizing unbuilt landscapes enables clients to make clear and informed decisions throughout the design process.
During his free time, Luke enjoys the endless fun of raising four young children with his wife in Nashville, TN.
