*LAB INTERN

 

OJB, an award-winning landscape architecture design practice is seeking a full time Intern to work in our Philadelphia office. Our clients include internationally acclaimed architectural firms, Fortune 500 companies, private developers, municipal governments, non-profit agencies, and private citizens.

The *lab Intern will be assisting OJB*lab with development of interactive digital tools, Grasshopper scripting, and data visualization. The experience will be focusing on the accessibility of research during design. The candidate will be involved in an exciting collaboration with a federal agency partnership, working alongside out internal lab team in OJB’s Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have:

• Pursuing degree in spatial analytics/landscape architecture/architecture. Dual degrees candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Data visualization/toolkit development is strongly preferred (Knowledge of Python/R)
• Basic web development experience is a plus.
• Skills in Grasshopper and Rhino required.
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Analysis with skills in assessment software like Athena/ GaBi is a plus but not required.

 

The position will be starting in June and will conclude end of August and will have a possibility of extension into Fall subject to project requirements/candidate’s interest.
