ASLA FEATURES SUNNYLANDS CASE STUDY ON SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

OJB’s case study on sustainable landscape design for Sunnylands Center & Gardens was featured on The American Society of Landscape Architects website. California is dealing with a huge drought, and sustainable design is becoming more important in order for communities to survive.

To respond to the emerging water crisis, The Office of James Burnett carefully selected plants and trees that adapt to low-water conditions. OJB has won several ASLA awards for the LEED Gold-certified garden including the 2012 ASLA National Honor Award, 2012 ASLA Texas Chapter Honor Award, and the 2012 ASLA San Diego Chapter Award.
