The Woodlands’ Hughes Landing Wins 2017 ICSC U.S. Design and Development Gold Award

OJB is excited to announce that Hughes Landing has won the Gold Award and Commendation for Sustainable Design in the New Developments category at the 2017 U.S. Design and Development Awards presented by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). The annual U.S. Design and Development Awards honor and recognize the premier design and development trends of retail projects, new developments, renovations, expansions and retail store design within the U.S.

The 66-acre mixed use development is set alongside Lake Woodlands and is comprised of office, multifamily, restaurants, hotel and a 120,000-square-foot retail podium anchored by Whole Foods Market, providing a live, work, play and stay environment. The award-winning development’s amenities include a dog park, art sculptures, a planked boardwalk and an open-air theater that hosts a series of free events. Residents and visitors are also able to rent water sport equipment, access bike and hiking trails, or simply relax and enjoy the water view.
