OJB has been working with the City of El Paso, The Paso del Norte Health Foundation, and Paso del Norte Community Foundation Health Foundation on a vision for a deck plaza that seeks to improve quality of life, enhance the pedestrian experience, re-connect neighborhoods on either side of I-10 in the downtown area, and bring much needed green space. With TxDOT’s work on I-10, the 12-acre transformational project is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a community destination for the region. Concepts have been developed for the deck plaza and the final design will be completed with the help of community input and participation.
