Ethan joined the OJB Boston office in 2023 after having interned there in the summer of 2022. He earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Purdue University. As a Designer, Elliot enjoys working with wild greenery and natural materials that are focused on the environmental benefits of landscape. Growing up outside of Indianapolis, he has always been fascinated with the preservation and expansion of open space as a counterpoint to the stresses of urban living. For his senior capstone project, he conducted research on the relationships between waterways and Monarch butterfly migration. His proposal involved installing a vertical planting system along rivers that would combat erosion processes and support Monarch migration. In his free time, he and his rescue dog, Myka, enjoy exploring the city and taking beach and mountain trips along the Northshore.
