About Judy Lee Shern, ASLA
Before starting at OJB Landscape Architecture in 2012, Judy worked at high-end residential firms in the Los Angeles area. Earning her landscape architecture degree in 2008 from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, her early promise was fostered through a Chapman Forestry Foundation scholarship. While at Cal Poly Pomona, she was honored with an ASLA Award of Excellence for her work in the publication Subsurface. Her interest in remaking the mixed-use typology into a more dynamic public realm has been a common thread throughout her work at OJB, including the design of Playa Vista into a series of distinct workplaces linked by gardens, courtyard, terraces and parks. Her most prominent project has been Westfield’s Century City Flagship Mall in Los Angeles.
Judy is currently the Project Director overseeing several large scale projects including the renovations at 1800 & 1900 Avenue of the Stars and a confidential office campus project for a large tech company in Los Angeles.
