Olivia first joined OJB in 2020 as an intern before becoming a full-time Designer in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with Minors in Horticulture and Irrigation Design. A Project Designer in the Solana Beach office, Olivia brings an extensive knowledge of horticulture and ecology to projects, with a specific focus on native California environments. Growing up in the San Diego area, she discovered a love for the outdoors at a young age, which inspired her to pursue a career in landscape architecture. She has continued to expand her knowledge of California’s unique climate regions, from the desert to the coastal and foothill regions, and contributes valuable plant and soils knowledge to several warm-weather projects. During her time at school, Olivia held various positions with the CPP student chapter of ASLA and won many honor awards including the SoCal ASLA Student Award of Merit. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, going to beach, and hanging out with her cat.
