About Ying Chen, Associate ASLA, LEED AP, BD+C
Ying joined the Houston office in 2021 after nearly four years of experience at an urban planning firm. As a landscape designer and urban designer, her experience ranges from open space design and streetscape to community and corridor planning. She has a wide interest in urban revitalization, green infrastructure and sustainable landscape design. Ying will work on preparing and generating project design, plans and development to construction packages. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Southwest University, Master of Urban Planning & Design from Nanjing Forestry University and a Master of Landscape Architecture from University of Georgia. She is an associate member of ASLA and holds an LEED AP BD+C. Current OJB projects include Hall Park, another confidential mixed use in Frisco, and Tarrant County Community College.
