About Yiting Xi, ASLA
As an Associate, Yiting contributes to all stages of project design and construction. She is passionate about balancing materiality, site conditions, and community concerns with landscapes that are sustainably planned and sourced. Originally pursuing a career path in architecture, Yiting was drawn to landscape architecture for its potential to build community and enhance the quality of life in our urban environments.
She is currently working on the landscape design for a new luxury residential building in Beverly Hills, California, the Thompson Hotel in Palm Springs, California, and the Seaport waterfront mixed-use development in San Diego.
Yiting joined OJB’s Solana Beach in 2018. She is currently working virtually out of the San Francisco Bay area, where she lives with her husband. Outside of work, Yiting finds design inspiration from traveling, especially to the diverse cultural and natural landscapes of Hawaii, Japan, Italy, and the Netherlands. She earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tongji University in Shanghai.
