Yulei joined the OJB Boston office in 2022. She earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. As a Designer, Yulei is interested by the invisible entanglements when balancing sustainable planning, urban infrastructure, and human-centered design. A native of China’s Sichuan province, she became passionate about landscapes and ecology after noticing the increased pollution and industrial concerns in her area. Yulei hopes her designs can motivate people to be more conscious of climate change and the connections between urban and natural beauty. In her free time, she enjoys running and practicing yoga.
