LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE MAGAZINE RECOGNIZES 2016 RECIPIENTS OF ASLA HONORS

The September issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine featured the honor roll of 2016 ASLA award winners, including Jim Burnett, this year’s Design Medal recipient. The magazine highlighted each honoree with a profile.

James Burnett, FASLA, will receive this year’s ASLA Design Medal, given to landscape architects who have produced exceptional design work over a sustained period of at least 10 years. Burnett has consistently created graceful, sustainable built landscapes that have become some of the most recognized and beloved urban environments worldwide, such as Klyde Warren Park in Dallas and the Park at Lakeshore East in Chicago. Having founded the Office of James Burnett in 1989, Burnett has built it into one of the most influential landscape architecture firms in the world’ it received the ASLA Firm Award in 2015.

Honorees will be recognized at this year’s ASLA Annual Meeting & Expo, Oct. 21-24, in New Orleans. Congratulations to all the winners!
