Alexander joined OJB’s Boston office in 2025. He earned a Master of Science in Architecture from the Institute of Computational Design (ICD) in Stuttgart, where he collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, architects, and engineers to develop architecture inspired by the natural world. During his studies, he also helped design and construct experimental installations, including a pavilion in downtown Stuttgart.

He then completed a six-month internship at UNStudio in Amsterdam and later earned a Master of Architecture degree from Cornell University, where he worked in Jenny Sabin’s design research group.

After graduating from Cornell, Alexander worked at two architecture firms in New York City, designing and documenting projects across all scales—from lobbies to master plans. He also gained experience in building inspection and historical restoration through projects for the New York City Housing Authority and New York University. His built work includes new amenity spaces, terraces, entrances, and façade systems for existing buildings in New York City.

Upon moving to Boston, Alexander embraced the opportunity to focus on a facet of design that has always fascinated him: landscape architecture. His work and interests consistently center on an understanding of sites, infrastructure, and the broader contexts that shape public spaces.

Originally from Alberta, Alexander has always loved the mountains and the outdoors. An avid and competitive cyclist, he has recently added surfing to his list of outdoor pursuits.
