Marketing Coordinator in Houston

The Marketing Coordinator is experienced in handling marketing support tasks and is able to work independently. The Marketing Coordinator must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of an energetic environment. The candidate must be proactive, resourceful, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Marketing Coordinator must have written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Experience in marketing design services also a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Compose and edit professional correspondence, project descriptions, resumes and other marketing materials for publication.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials in Adobe INDESIGN.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner. 
  • Interface with team and clients.
  • Assist with and coordinate responses to Request for Qualifications and Proposals.
  • Provide regular updates to the firm’s website and social media accounts. 
  • Coordinate specialty consultants (photographers, public relations,etc.).
  • Plan and coordinate special events. 
  • Coordinate with the professional staff as necessary to meet deadlines for marketing submittals.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, graphic design, advertising or an allied design field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Proficiency with desktop publishing software - Adobe Creative Suite REQUIRED and with (MS Office Suite REQUIRED)
  • Public / Media Relations a PLUS
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Organization and time management skills, including an ability to manage and prioritize competing assignments
  • Strong written and communication skills

Openings for Designers, Project Designers, Associates and Senior Associates

OJB is currently accepting applications from Designers with 2-4 Years of experience, Associates with 4-6 years of experience and Senior Associates with 6+ years of experience including demonstrated success in project delivery and construction.


  • A Bachelor or Master of Architecture or Landscape Architecture
  • Employment history in a fast-paced, design-driven studio environment (if applicable)
  • Experience working with project teams to produce bid documents for complex projects
  • Demonstrated technical skills, an attention to detail and problem solving ability
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and MS Office
  • Familiarity with VectorWorks, Revit Architecture and/or Rhinoceros is a plus
  • Professional licensure preferred but not required for Associate
