OJB Receives the Midway James A. Moran Legacy Award

OJB Landscape Architecture has been awarded Midway’s ‘James A. Moran Legacy Award’. This is the 13th year Midway has bestowed this honor in memory of its founder; it recognizes those that represent his character, vision, and passion and a life-long commitment to teamwork and generosity to others.

OJB was honored at last week’s annual Moran event, which took place at Green Street in Downtown Houston.

“We are honored and humbled to accept the James A. Moran Legacy Award. OJB is very grateful for the opportunities Midway has given the firm over the years and we look forward to many more successful collaborations in the future, says Jim Burnett, President, and Founder of OJB.

OJB and Midway have worked together for over 15 years on dozens of projects, including CityCentre; Kings Harbor; Century Square; Memorial Green; Levy Park; Kirby Grove and Avenue Grove; Green Street; East River; Buffalo Heights; Aggie Park and many more.

“We have had a collaborative relationship with Midway and are extremely proud of the fact that we have been able to reinforce Midway’s mission (and also ours!) of creating active and successful developments for Houston and the region…Places that are memorable, full of people and have contributed to quality of life,” says Chip Trageser, Partner and Managing Principal in OJB’s Houston office.
