Partners Healthcare Administrative Campus Wins 2018 BSLA Merit Award

The Boston Society of Landscape Architects 2018 Design Awards recognized OJB Boston with a Merit Award in Design for its work on the Partners HealthCare Administrative Campus in Somerville, MA. According to the Awards Committee, the winning projects were selected from over 100 entries that “reflect careful stewardship, wise planning, and artful design of the cultural and natural environment.”

Partners HealthCare consolidated its operations into one administrative campus and asked OJB to design the open space to serve its 4,500 employees and the Somerville community. The campus welcomes the public to enjoy its open space benefits including a fitness trail that loops around a 2.5-acre event lawn and private to semi-private seating areas. In addition to its public-private nature, the campus is a new standard for corporate campus sustainability. One of its many sustainability accomplishments includes capturing 100% of on-site stormwater.
