Born from an effort to make the facility more enjoyable and recognizable, the new vision for the Hollywood Burbank Airport enhances passenger experience throughout the 26-acre site. Key improvements include a lush arrival sequence that highlights native and adaptive plants; a pedestrian–oriented streetscape; perimeter planting and hardscape at the garage and terminal entry; a central terminal plaza with ample shaded seating and rideshare access, and a new emphasis on green space and planting site-wide. The existing terminal’s safety and accessibility issues will be resolved, and noise pollution will be significantly reduced.
