International Mind-Body Wellness Day”,

January 3 is International Mind-Body Wellness Day.Creating spaces that allow people to immerse themselves in nature, even in the midst of a bustling city, is vital to promoting mind-body wellness. We hope the new year will provide many opportunities to rebalance our physical and mental health. According to the Trust for Public Land, physical and mental health benefits from interacting with nature include, ”reduced levels of attention deficit in children, improved cognitive ability, reduced aggressive behavior – a general recharge of the brain.” Whether in a micro-dose or full immersion, nature can improve our health. “People spending two hours or more per week in nature are significantly more likely to report good health and life satisfaction.” (Nature)Get outside. Enjoy the beauty in all things. Happy 2022.
